Magnetic
Scanner The
Magnetic Scanner is one of the latest additions to our
capability of magnetic
testing technology. It
is an ultra fast scanner with superb magnetic resolution. Capable
of moving at speeds of 0.5 m/s (meter per second) in both the
X & Y axis, while taking readings every 0.25mm. The
scanner remains steady with little movement even at these
speeds The
special 3 axis probe takes X, Y & Z readings on the same
pass giving full accuracy. Fully
integrated software allows the operative full 3D manipulation
to be able to view the resultant image of the scan for
purposes of quality checking and referencing. The image to the
right shows a Ceramic 5 ring magnet magnetised 8 poles on one
face. Built
to customers specification - length x width x height, the
scanner offers complete flexibility with the operative being
able to chose the scanning area with a simple controller
