Sintered Alnico
Sintered Alnico, also known as Alcomax, is a pressed composite material of Aluminium, Nickel & Cobalt so is a non corrosive material in water.
Compared with Cast Alnico Sintered Alnico was known to have slightly lower Br (remenance) and Hc (coercivity) but the differences have all but disappeared with current manufacturing processes.
Alnico magnets also have good temperature stability and a high working temperature. Their Low coercivity means that they are excellent for solenoid applications.
